Reviewed on 9/30/18 6:29 AM I really enjoy using this program for the ease of use, the smooth 3D capability and the fact that you can import textures. My only complaint is that the furniture options are really not attractive or trending in any way. I hate to say it, but most of the furniture is very ugly, strangely proportioned or oddly colored, and since I use the program mainly to set up and design interiors, this is very disappointing to me. Don't get me wrong, the program is really amazing for the price, and better than most of the other design programs, but please let us import from the Trimble Warehouse, or hire an actual furniture designer to create the inventory! I hope the developers read this.

For the money, I have loved playing around with it, and recently have used it as a rough guide for a remodel design I'd made in the app and that we are now planning to put into action! It's been pretty easy to use, and the variety allows for a fairly accurate representation of what you are imagining! I am giving it a four because I have a few small areas for improvement, but also mainly because I am very disheartened to see that there is a separate outdoor design app. I would be willing to pay the $4.99 because in my experience this app is worth paying for, however, I strongly do not like that I can't just add it as an expansion in this version. Perhaps they are already working on that? Because I really do not want to have to go into a separate app to design a nice outdoor garden outside the homes I have already designed in this app....it's just tedious! So until that is fixed I cannot justify 5 stars.... So far I love this app and I can't wait to see what else they add to it in updates! I hope they add more options and items, especially decor like paintings and candles and pillows and string lights etc as time goes on, or at least add reasonably priced expansion options that include lots of items! That being said, i only have a few small wishes for the app to be made better, and I have heard this company is pretty responsive to customer comments so here goes: 1. I don't love that you can't turn textures horizontal or vertical from the way they are unless you screen grab them or others and import on your own. The ones they have are set that way with no option to change. 2. There are sometimes glitches with the walls that make the app believe it's not a complete room and thus will display grass instead of a floor. 3. No real roof option. Or actual varieties of shutters that you would see on real life homes. 4. Inability to use altitude on all objects. For example, it would be awesome to be able to use it on the decor items so that I could place lamps on tables instead of only on the floor. 5. I also would love a little bit more realistic or varied color overlay when they give you the option to change an item color. Particularly on lighter shades. It seems not to work at all unless you skip the first 3-4 color shade options. 6. The geometries options need to be able to shrink further than most of them do to create realistic custom items. 7. I would love bed options that are more neat looking, and that do not all have fancy bed sets or headboards. There is no decent looking bed option that does not have those. 8. Clear Glass texture would be awesome. And a better looking screen option that shows the light going through it like a real screen would. 9. The ability to place windows closer to the edge of a wall. I'm working on a remodel of an 80 year old family cabin and even turning off the magnet option. I am not allowed to place the windows as close as they are in real life. I understand that's not very standard anymore but still, it is the way it is and I'd like to be able to accurately represent the room as it is in real life! 10. Last, but definitely not least, I REALLY would love to be able to group items option at some point! It would be awesome for items that were created in app or just things that are perhaps set on a table that you'd love to just move with the table instead of separate! Keep up the great work guys, overall I love this app and I can't wait to see what more you will add to it! :)

Reviewed on 9/28/18 5:36 PM This game has great visuals and lots of different options of how your house can look, but all of my hard work goes to waste when my projects disappear from the menu. They all disappear if I don't save every half an hour or so (save by clearing the tab and going back on the app.) Not only is this inconvenient, but if I forget I have to wait over an hour for my projects to get restored again.

Along with sizing objects, we should be able to change the elevation and there should be more designs to choose from. We should be able to add windows and doors to walls that were drawn independently from a room. With a few changes this could be a great app,however, the way it is now is still pretty good. 03/16/16: For the second time this app has crashed and deleted all of my work! 08/17/17, there have been some positive changes with this app. Objects can be sized, elevated or lowered, however, none of that matters if the app constantly crashes. As it stands, I am not able to complete my project. 9/23/18, this app has improved dramatically. It is much more user friendly and the multi-level addition is great. However, I wish there could be an option for either a BASEMENT or second floor with that.

The basic stuff, works great...like putting a wall or drawing a room. Th challenge is its very limited options of architect and object items. You'd be lucky to find the right window or door to use in your design

A few adds I would like to see- round and rectangular tables with table cloths on them, to be able to change the landscape to incorporate hills and ledges, decorative columns, and food/food serving items. Also being able to change the altitude of ANYTHING would add versatility to use objects to represent other things that aren't available or to use them in creative ways. Overall this app is fantastic and I use it almost daily for both work, personal use and fun/relaxation! Keep up the great work! Thanks!

The sizing, layout, etc is impossible to use. $12 down the drain. Absolutely terrible. Try the free version first and you will see without wasting your money. I wish I could get a refund.

Reviewed on 8/30/19 1:59 PM I really like this app, except for a couple major issues: 1. No option to put a roof on my house (even at Gold level)- house looks incomplete without a roof 2. Insufficient design options to create anything other than modern/temporary houses - I would love an option to create a Mediterranean style or rustic home 3. Unable to recolor objects to make them glass but can recolor to make them translucent like water. The technology already exists in the game just expand it and let customers' creativity run wild. 4. Add option to rotate a room 90 degrees so things can be easily rearranged as needed as the house grows 5. Add option to drag items like railing- to enclose something with a fence/rail users need to continuously select the item and adjust it to match with previously placed fencing. Very time consuming for something that should be simple. 6. Furniture doesn't coordinate- I find a love seat I like but no couch to match, for example (this is the case 9/10 times) Pros: 1. Easy to use & rearrange entire rooms (although unable to rotate entire room)- this is the biggest plus! Most games with this functionality are very cumbersome to learn. 2. Can quickly build a house 3. Can resize objects 4. Can add own textures/images to objects (like your own photos to photos on the wall- pretty cool!) It seems the developers quit improving this game. It's a shame bc most of the hard work is done and it only needs a little updating to be literally the perfect home design game! Developers - if you add this functionality I would buy several models, and I don't believe I'm alone in this! If this is profitable for you, I would kindly suggest promoting it. You have a great app that is almost there!

Reviewed on 8/29/18 11:15 PM I see no way to ask questions (beyond FAQs) or to make recommendations (I need an object for Pocket Doors, Barrier Free doors, Walk-in Tub, steel entry doors). I find the scale tool much more useful than its name so check it out! Discovered how to draw patio/deck but so far haven't found the "pencil" texture tool.

After pouring over 150 hours into a project, I unfortunately need to bring my iPad in for repair and it will have to be wiped... When I try to save to Dropbox, the application made a folder for house design, but failed to save the documents in that folder, and shows a white blank box whenever I reach what I assume to be the next step of the permissions part of saving to Dropbox. I'm really unsure what to do, and really disappointed. Please let me know if there is something I can do so I don't loose all my hard work!

Reviewed on 7/9/18 1:18 AM I'd rather use this app over Umake and formit. Sometimes you just want an easy way to make a 3D models. This app does it. The only thing that's missing is better viewing angles and a way to export the model on to another 3D software like Google sketch up.

Reviewed on 7/4/18 8:12 PM There seems to be no way to make a room that is not a rectangle. If you join walls, no room is defined. If is surrounded by 4 wall, it doesn't mean you can click on it. It is totally not intuitive. I am going to use it. I have been trying for 20 minutes to make one room that has 6 walls. It doesn't seem possible.😔 When using more than one device, changes get automatically deleted. If you always choose the newest version, it will not tell you the truth. Is the newest version the most recent, maybe maybe not, you can only find out after deciding. Is there a way to not accidentally delete all your changes? There is, don't use it on more than one device.

I've encountered a couple of things that aren't possible such as building a roof or closet. All and all it's a great little app and as long as they keep making improvements I'll keep using it

Reviewed on 7/3/18 7:18 PM This app is hard to work with. I'm not a professional, but as I work with it on my phone it is hard to get the correct dimensions of the rooms. It is also difficult to design entire floors such as the first floor and second floor of the home. Once you do have a room the shape of a room in reality it's a bit easier to fill it with pictures of furniture that are provided by the app. The items to place in the home are not exact. It is definitely not great for landscaping ideas. You can't just fill an area with flowers or mulch. Two thumb down for $13.00!

I have had a few odd bugs, but nothing that hindered my ability to fully model my home in about 3 hours. Definitely worth the money, especially compared to the alternatives.

How to make an opening like looking down to the living room when ur upstairs isn't in any videos. Basically, you have to figure it out all on ur own. They need to update the video help section. I hate having to repeatedly contact customer service In Facebook every-time I need them.

After the last upgrade of the software all of the work that I put into making something that I could use for my home was for nothing. Every time I try to load my Home layout in this app the program crashes. So be warned that when these people upgrade there's no backward compatibility guaranteed. You'll be like me and you lose all of the work and time that you spent using the software. Not professional software at all.

Reviewed on 6/12/18 11:20 AM I purchased the app after not getting a truly robust program with the outdoor gold version hoping that this would round out the program. And from a high level flyover it's a nice app but when you get down to the details like a domed mulch 6' circle surrounding trees or split coloring on a wall divided by a chair rail or stone backing behind a counter top stove while the rest of the back splash is tile, Well they are somewhat clunky to realize at best. The resolution of wall alignment jumps multiples of inches rather than single inch or inch fractions. Means deleting walls sometimes just to add them back to square a corner. Or building and adding additional objects (still trying to figure out if this is possible). But over all not a bad app/couple apps especially since I'm now 15 + dollars into it . Keep up the development guys it's a good app.

Reviewed on 5/7/18 12:51 AM If your home has walls that are offset, doors that are wider or narrower than "normal", have unique sized openings, or have parallel running walls at different lengths for the same room, this app won't work. You have to fudge the lengths, etc because the app wants to force the lengths to be the same, or the walls to align. I wish I hadn't paid for it. The app shouldn't assume that you meant to make the walls the same length and auto adjust the length. The sizes of the windows and doors should be completely customizable. My home isn't a cookie cutter home. This app can't handle homes that aren't cookie cutter homes.

Reviewed on 5/31/18 12:42 AM I've used several house plans apps. This one is hands down the easiest and most comprehensive. Very user friendly. As with most apps out there, it has a few glitches. If I are a change to a wall in one room it might deduct another room from the square footage. Fixing this is easy enough but it would be nice to not have to. Another missing feature is to be able to separate textures and finishes on an open floor plan. Also to be able to change the colors of textures provided. Even colors I select it will auto tint or light/dark change. If I want something light I want it light. But it will not take the lightness or darkness of shades I select. Need to add dining table and chair options, eating bar and more wet bar options. Also, need 90 degree cabinet options. Having said all that, I'm very impressed with the options available.

I use this primarily for renovation projects and this app allowed me to collaborate with the people who's homes I was working on. It has all the functionality we needed to do renovation plans which is great but the best things about it is it's intuitive and easy to figure out. As far as I'm concerned, that's what sets it apart from other apps. All the functionality in the world isn't worth anything if it's too difficult to use. Good app.
This is NOT a helpful design tool. If that is what you are looking for... run away.

Reviewed on 5/14/18 8:49 PM I am obsessed with this app. You can import a floor plan, build the plan, and walk through it 3D. Or you can build a floor plan from scratch. You can decorate it, and change the color and texture of everything to fit your decor style. This app has been especially valuable because some plans that I loved in 2D, don't appeal to me when actually built in 3D. The app isn't difficult to learn, but you do need to watch the short tutorials to learn how to create, edit, and decorate the plans. I was having some trouble with my app, so I sent the designers a message on Facebook. They replied within 24 hrs, and have been great at responding to my questions. They also gave me their email address where to send my plan for their help on it. They seem to be actively working on improving their app. They are open to users' constructive criticism and suggestions, so if you're having difficulty on something, I would suggest contacting them directly to give them a chance to help. I have been designing my dream homes, so I hope this app is around for a long time!

On my phone I cannot seem to print my project which was why I was trying to open on iPad (because iPad will let me print). On iPad for some reason I can only do one level houses... it will not give me the option to add extra floor at all! Would be nice if the programs were the same. :(

Reviewed on 4/17/18 11:57 PM When adding an object to the software, you can specify dimensions of width and depth. You can edit the height, but without any dimensional feedback. You must do it in the 3-D view by eye only. There is no height dimension indicator. This means walkarounds in the 3-D view are approximate only. For instance, when specifying a window, it is possible to set the exact width and the exact distance from the floor to the bottom of the window, but not the window height! Emails about this to customer support increased my frustration. In addition to suggesting I consult the FAQ (which I had already done, of course) it would be advantageous to be able to speak French in order to understand the instructions for follow-up. (I mean actually, not metaphorically!) I'm personally sick of software companies that only provide automated answers in the first response to a technical issue. I wouldn't be writing if the answers were so obvious! I can't give a good review to a company that doesn't mind wasting my time in this way.

I have toyed with the idea of complex computer 3D software but I did not want the hassle of dealing with a laptop. This app is awesome, the ease on how you create rooms is perfect! The measuring system is dead on. The fact that you can stretch every single object to what ever size is key. You can also take pictures of your owner wished patterns and apply them anywhere, big help on choosing paint and renovation ideas. I recommend it as top notch!!!

When I was comparing the regular and gold version I noticed it said you could build unlimited floors on gold. I can't figure out how and haven't found any tutorials on it. Can you even build a second floor?

Reviewed on 3/28/18 6:19 PM I have had the app for a long time now. At first it was only so so, but over time they have added many cool things to it. You can now do almost anything. The bad parts are; you can't change wall height! you can't make round walls. You can't change the roof line! You can't change the landscape it's just flat. You have a limited selection of items. Some fine it hard to control. It just took a little time for me now I'm ok with it. The good parts; You can do almost any layout you want. Some may take time to do but it's worth the time! You can customized everything so if they don't have what you need just change the shape of something that looks right. It works. They just added more floors! This is great before I just made separate files for every floor. If you have trouble with measuring just use a new wall outside of the home. It will auto line up with whatever your making then make the wall transparent. In blueprint mode you can see it but in 3D it will be gone. Great way to help layout when you have lots of walls/ items in a small area.

Reviewed on 3/17/18 2:29 PM This is my favorite app, even though it has some problems. 1- if I take a photo of my sofa fabric & add it to my library & then make it "appear" my actual sofa is in the room.... I cannot change it back to the default fabric you chose. Then it just messes all up :( 2- crashes, ooooh I hate that. 3- PLEASE tweak the corners! I want to make an angle door (corner to put a door) from the master to the en suite :( it ALWAYS angles the 2 adjoining walls for an ODD shaped room. 4- Please fix the " add a single wall" feature. If I add a single wall and want to delete a portion of the original room wall...it's NOT allowed. 5- PLEASE PLEASE create a feature that we can use to make outside walls a certain size, i.e. 6" exterior walls and inner walls 4" LOCK to user preference. However in my plan I do need some 6" inner walls. Just create a user wall thickness lock feature. That would be great. Because EVERY TIME I adjust the room size or even one wall....it defaults back to your 7" thickness. Who has 7" thick walls? My basement I have used 15" thickness to accommodate for cinder blocks, 2x4's and drywall. :)) 6- BELIEVE IT OR NOT...I LOVE THIS APP My husband and I are designing our retirement mountain home AND THIS APP DOES THE TRICK, Looking forward to new features. <3 it!!! I loved using the sun feature and calendar timeline to see how the sun would peer through the windows and then I strategically placed my house on our property according to the compass feature and sha-zam... we have sun that enters through every window in our home on all 4 sides of the house! Not to mention the moonlight. When the sun and moon shines brightly through the the upper stair case window and peers into the master suite, oh my! Breathtaking! Plus the sun and moon will shine at certain times of the year through the dining window into the kitchen across the massive island and to the cooktop on the wall cabinets. It's gorgeous! Excellent PDF and printing features. Very reliable. Tested for 3 weeks on iPad mini running iOS 11.2.6. New app updates and video tutorials also great! =^) #RECOMMENDED ! OLD PREVIOUS REVIEW QUIBBLES (in priority order): • Needs basic usage tip to explain that the floor plan NEEDS to be constructed of a SERIES OF BOXES as the main concept. Some of them will be full rooms, but others will be necessary boxes to become hallways and closets and staircases and such, often with sides set to be invisible. Free-form drawn walls are rarely useful. • Needs clear instruction tip that tells user that you CANNOT install a window or door in a free form wall. You can ONLY do that in a feature drawn as a room box. • Needs more default settings so you don't have to make so many individual adjustments to elements • Needs at least a simple undo/redo feature • Nice selection of archways, but they need more height options CONCLUSION: #RECOMMENDED!

The UI needs to be improved there is no ruler, Can't rotate walls and rooms, can't type Arabic for floor name and there are some lags sometimes. ( Even on iPhone 7 ) One of the biggest problem is we can't share multiple projects together or share them using iTunes. I have more than 10 projects and every time I have to transfer them between my iPhone, iPad and PC one by one which is annoying. + AR reality is amazing !!!

We figured out that it was the setting of 3-d rendering that turned the shadows on and off. But I can't figure out how to enable that setting for it won't give me an option to turn it off or on. Reviewed on 2/7/18 10:20 PM Purchased this app as it had a considerable number of excellent reviews. Room layouts and such are pretty easy to use and nicely featured. However, if you want to design anything other than on a flat pad forget it. There don't seem to be any capabilities to design split level or multi story designs. I live in an area where we are going to be designing exactly that, a split level off the first with a walk out basement below. Don't seem to be able to do that with this software. It makes viewing elevation profiles meaningless. Perhaps I'm missing something here and if so would be nice to hear from the developer. Way too much effort put in on small nuances such as lots of door designs, furniture, etc. The layout and elevations are the big starting point. The rest is meaningless without those.

I have been using it since it came out and have done all the updates and things like that, but over the years they have really only made an improvement on how realistic everything looks. There have always been stairs but you have never been able to add a second floor to the house's you design. This really frustrates me sometimes because I like the way a 2 story house looks. Overall the app is great I just wish that they would add more building features like multiple floors.

Reviewed on 2/26/18 11:34 PM I have been playing with this app for 24 hours. I had this urge to draw my dream home so I got this $9 app and got to the task. Took me awhile to figure it out, especially the walls/rooms and what not. I think I get it now. Even if the app has stairs, you can't draw floors or basement (would need a separate land for each floor.) You should be able to add floors, even sims can do that. Needs more decor options. Perhaps some guidance about average room sizes to help make the model closer to reality (especially for those of us who are not architects or interior designers). Besides that, great app, highly recommend, love the 3D option, hope it looked even more real!

Game room items like billiard tables, ping pong tables, etc. Mechanical room items like furnaces. Need more selection of cabinets, sinks, furniture, etc., and items should be grouped into sets. For example, a matching set of sofas and chairs that could be grouped in a room. Overall, the library of objects needs to be larger with more selection to choose from.

One star off Suggestion: Auto flyover that goes over each 3D model and through and over each room. DropBox - I'm authenticated but what's the point. I get a blank popup with a logout button. Can't save to it. Can't open from it. One star off Now go get your stars back. I paid 9.99 and finding these flaws is upsetting. Basic features need to work.

On the downside however, I wish you could create additional floors and change the shape of the stairs. This would be extremely helpful for those of us with basements and second stories.

Do the correct measurements and placements of walls and stairwells and you'll be fine. Obviously you would never try to make an actual blue print on an iPad or phone app, if you are you're in idiot. This is perfect for a rough rough draft of a plan you have in your head or even just a stress relief.

Would be nice to be able to design exterior rooflines but it's perfect for visualizing interiors, exterior windows, shutters, room layouts, kitchen and bath remodeling, etc. Can't figure out how to show different trim, ie crown molding yet, but I learn more every time I open the app. Built a model of my new home in just over an hour!

I have spent numerous hours creating floorplans with detail and now I have to go back through and change a lot of my floorplans back to the way they were before the update. I am now considering using something different.

Reviewed on 12/19/17 1:08 AM I used the free version of the app for a few days & some of the features weren't working - I assumed that if I purchased the gold version, everything would work. The only thing that seems to be different in the gold version, though, is the fact that you can save projects & you have access to all the objects. The things I wanted to do in the free version are also missing from the gold version. The app description & the tutorial both say you can adjust the wall height, but this doesn't actually seem to be possible. The description also says you can change the height of windows & how high the windows are on the walls, and says you can make a whole street & shows a picture of a street with 2-story buildings. You can make a whole street but I'm pretty sure there's no way to adjust object height on walls or add stories to your structures. There are also no roofs for the houses. And I would like to be able to add crown moulding, baseboard, & different types of ceilings, & attics & basements. I chose this app over the others because it looked like I could make entire houses with this one, top to bottom, interior & exterior, not just floor plans. But I feel like I got like a third of what I paid for. I really like the 3D walk-through feature & all the textures & colours, but I really want something that allows me to add stories & a roof & walk through a complete house. If I'm wrong about what this app is missing, I'll change my review. Thanks.

I wish they had custom cabinetry and shelving, and possibly custom frameless glass showers. Also, why isn't there recessed can lights? They're in just about every home. What a great way for me to see various options in my home now. I love being able to download my own fabrics and pictures. I was able to see many choices of rugs I was interested in for a room and could see how each looked. I thought I really liked one until I saw how it looked in the room. I was able to find my perfect choice by using this app. I love it and would give it 5 stars but I can't add my second floor. I hope someday they will add that option. I also would like to elevate some rooms and sink others.

I know it's meant to be modern but I would love to have a few more vintage pieces. Also, I'd like to be able to adjust the height of the objects just like I already can with the length and width. It's would be cool if there were different ceiling options, too. Maybe it would be easier to get the right wall length if there was an option to type it in or square a room. I would also love to be able to copy a room. I like the app overall; it is quick and easy. Can't wait to see the next update!

But if you are using this app for fun, like me, it is a great getaway for anyone who needs a break from their hectic schedule while building and designing a dream house. The 3D feature is super cool to have and the 2D feature makes the app very easy to construct and built. NOTE: If you get the free version, you cannot create new projects. The upgraded version is $7 (I think) and the Gold version is $11 (I think). However, I think it was worth the money if you think it is an app you will use.

Reviewed on 12/12/18 11:23 AM I really love this app for creating 3D models of blueprints and plans. For those who need a little extra help visualizing their space, this app is perfect. It is fairly easy to learn and use. However, the object library is very limited and sadly outdated. While you can customize the color of most objects, you cannot edit those objects beyond scale. In many cases, you cannot even change the altitude of the object which would be handy when you are forced to be creative with the lack of available or appropriate objects. The tutorials are welcome but too simple for any real troubleshooting. However, the app creators are responsive to questions through email if you run into issues. All in all, I do recommend this app and I use it frequently to help me "see" my intended projects.

One thing i don't like about it is that it doesn't have a basement option so if you want one you have to design everything one floor up. I also wish that they would add more yard designs because the land is flat. I wish it had hill options or rivers or creeks, just something to make it look mote natural. Other than that i would definitely recommend getting the game. I have spent hours designing houses! They have materials to build all sorts of things, the only limit is your imagination!!! 😁

It has a bit of a learning curve and a few glitches but ultimately this is not a Professional CAD program. It's worth every penny of the less than $10 it costs for all the features it offers. Really my only gripe about it is that you cannot build a second floor onto the first, so if you want to make another level you have to do it on a different project page. But then you can't see the house as a whole from the 3D mode. It would also be nice if you could create a basement, and be able to raise the first floor up from the ground level, for those who have steps up to there front or back doors.

I found it very frustrating to attempt to trace a plan as the snap snapped whether it was on or off, preventing an accurate trace. Have a set of stairs with an opening below. Bzzzt. No can do. Want accurate wall thicknesses for US dimensioned lumber? Bzzzt. No can do. On.y full inch increments allowed. Want to change the default wall thickness instead of drawing a wall, then deselecting it then using a slider to change the thickness? Bzzzzt. No can do. All objects appear resizeable, but they change from the center, making positioning and sizing a many many step iterative process. Also seems to be no way to define size other than dragging sliders on the object. Very time-wasting to size and position. Overall, probably ok for goofing around, but not usable for anything real

Waste of money, do not buy this app!

Reviewed on 10/8/18 7:15 PM I am impressed with the level of detail on the floor plans. And I like that a single wall can be added as well as the wall thickness can be changed. That is the entire list of pro's. The cons are: There does not seem to be any organization and everything is all jumbled together. For example, under kitchen, it should list, walls, bases, appliances, etc ... and then show the available choices under each. When increasing the ceiling height, there is a cheesy horizontal seam that appears. Also the walls show seams and not one fluid wall. Very odd the way you must use the arrows to resize instead of allowing you to also enter in dimensions Very few accessories and options to pick from. Finished product looks very cartoonish. Reviewed on 10/27/17 10:43 PM Oh my goodness I don't even know how to express my frustration. First it wouldn't let me upgrade, made me pay twice cause I needed the upgrade ASAP. Then the upgrade crashed and I lost the entire main floor! Can't tell you how awful that was! I had backed it up but it wouldn't load in the app. Over the course of the last year with these two problems they never helped me! I would get new emails every week saying the exact same thing: consult our Q&A. But I had a specific issue! I needed my money back for the first app cause it didn't let me simply upgrade. Yet they would never respond to that. Then they continued to respond with this "consult Q&A" for weeks after the Dropbox wouldn't load and we lost the main floor. It is super helpful to have an app to plan furniture. SUPER helpful. Just don't get this one! Beyond frustrated.

All goes down hill from there if you really want to do any real world projects. Can't locate objects you wanted because the library is very limited. You can't fixed a dimension (such as a wall length) or an object. Objects snap at whatever it wants, not what you want. Moving a wall will move objects. So if you have everything laid out perfect (if you ever get there, especially with the glitches), by moving an object or a wall, you just changed a bunch of stuff. This App has no way of glueing or fixing items so that they don't get change! Any good program should allow you to do it so you don't have to take one step forward but three steps backward. Totally not useful for any real world application except being used as a game or to fill time when you have nothing to do. Did I mention about the glitches? For example, adding a wall, adding or moving an object, adding an architecture, or any activity for that matter, will deduct the square footage of your house. There's nothing to tell you what caused it. To fix it, you have to start deleting walls a section at a time and rebuilding it. But that in itself causes more of the same so you are in trial and error loop until, hopefully, you don't see the glitch anymore. Just a poor App for real world application.

Biggest draw back for me is that u don't allow an actual roof. Using this professionally , that is a great option to have and customize. Also the 3D augment is great ... except the entire thing has a White hazy overlay.? Otherwise I like it

All of my projects are sitting unfinished because I can't add more floors and I don't want to create a separate project to see the other floor. That wouldn't make sense. It would also be nice if there were more contemporary pieces of furniture and textures.

I have spent hours contentedly designing away, trying different styles. My only request is to add more pet furniture. Reviewed on 10/15/17 10:52 PM It's fun to seen your designs in 3D. It's very frustrating to try and make rooms exact sizes. You need to drag the wall to the correct size. You end up with rooms that are 19 ft 2 inches. Then have to spend five minutes trying to fix the dimensions. It would be so much better to type room sizes in. Also it would be great to be able to use the pencil. Lastly one of the most prominent "features" is a button that try's to up-sell a model of your project. I like that it is an option, but I don't need a button that is so easy to accidentally press especially, when I have to scroll through 5 more screens to exit the sales pitch.

Reviewed on 10/14/17 3:40 AM I appreciate all the effort that has gone into creating this relatively easy-to-use 3D design app. However, there are some things I'm wishing for: - more furniture styles/pieces A dining buffet, for example - ability to add floor texture - ability to change color of upholstery - ability to change wall color - less battery power drain on iPad That said, it is helping me know in advance what I pieces of furniture will fit BEFORE I have move them. That saves a lot of effort! So it is worth the price.

Reviewed on 1/7/18 4:30 PM I love the flexibility this app has as far as textures and the ability to customize size, etc on different objects. However, I've hit so many glitches in the process of trying to create a 3d walkthrough of the home I've designed on paper for my family that it's becoming more frustrating to use than it's really worth. The inability to create a second floor is disappointing (especially since you can include stairs in your design), but I'd resigned myself to creating a second file to build a walkthrough for our second story. The easiest way I've found to do this is to create a copy of the first story and then go from there. The copy file is rife with problems though and constantly freezes the app, making it impossible to use for more than thirty seconds without restarting at which point at least half of my changes disappear. Until I started working on my second file, I would have said this app was worth the money even with the other issues I've encountered, but since I've started a second file the app has become unusable. This is incredibly frustrating since I've spent so much time with the first part of my design. The concept of this app is great but ultimately it doesn't function well enough for me to recommend it to others. And with its latest update being 8+ months ago, I don't have much hope for many bug fixes in the near future. Some other issues: -inaccurate measurements -ignores any measurements under 1 inch -automatic alignment of walls and other objects is massively inconvenient when trying to make small adjustments or placing objects like chairs and rugs that you don't necessarily want glued to walls -no way to unstick certain objects from each other (so if you need to extend a wall it moves everything on that wall instead of just adding extra footage) or if you want to delete a glitchy piece of "land" it deletes everything set on top of it. -no way to whole copy rooms (and although the app boasts the ability to move rooms you again have the issue of being unable to stick walls and everything attached to the outside of the room tries to move with it) -you can change the height on some walls but not others, making it impossible, for instance, to create a home with 11ft ceilings throughout.

Why can't all your apps work across a brood spectrum. I paid for all of your design apps you would think you could access everything across all apps. I have to change my rating from an original 5 star down to 3 and that's being generous at this point. But I am sure you don't care since you already have my money. Once you change the interface to access across all your apps I will change back to a 5 star rating. Also your home design 3D app needs some work with being able to add multiple floors and a roof system.

How can we design a room without being able to put a basic light source on a table? The height of a lamp helps balance your design. Pathetic oversight. I attempted a work-around by trying to shorten a floor lamp, but height adjustment was not available on the light. They offer a skinny goose-neck work light, but nothing that would be fundamental for a family room sofa table, credenza, bedside table, etc. Seriously renders this program useless from a interior design perspective.

Your design will likely not reflect 100% of your reality, especially if you have custom items, but you should be able to get reasonably close. The scaling feature allows you to change the size of any item; you can also add colours or textures to simulate your ideas.

(I paid for the Golden version around Christmas time so it was only $4😁) I do only use it for fun; but if I ever build my own house, this would be extremely helpful! I do have a couple of suggestions, however. There are a few stairwells that you can choose from, yet you can't add a second story... which bums me out😕 Also, I would like to have the option to add vaulted ceilings and see a roof from the out side. I have been using the arbor to act as a roof, but you can't change its shape much😆. I absolutely love this app and I think that these suggestions would improve it even more!
